MACEDON. Sermyle. 4th century BC. AE (Bronze, 15 mm, 3.99 g, 1 h). Female head to right, her hair bound in sphendone, wearing single-pendant earring. Rev. ΣΕΡΜΥΛΙΑΙΩ[Ν] Wreath of two grain ears. Gorny & Mosch 269 (2020), 239. HGC 3.1, -. Robinson, Excavations at Olynthus III (1931), p. 108, 882. Very rare. An interesting issue of lovely style. Somewhat smoothed, otherwise, very fine.
